Terms of Service

Tiny Desk AI terms for photo permissions, original office-band videos, dynamic credit quotes, purchases and responsible use.

Last updated: 2026-10-28

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By creating an account or using Tiny Desk AI (the "Service", configured for tinydesk-ai.net), you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by SHENG LI, an individual based in mainland China; contact support@tinydesk-ai.net.

2. What the Service Is

The main Tiny Desk AI tool requests a new office-band performance from one person photo, two separate people photos (A lead singer/B saxophonist), one two-person photo (left lead/right saxophonist), or one pet photo. Other band members are generated; there are no five independent identity slots. Sound depends on the selected effect. Supported model, resolution, duration and format choices appear in the studio; the default is Seedance 2.0 Mini, 720p, 12 seconds, 9:16. Available settings differ by model. Authorized requests use Kie or Metaso and their selected model providers. Media storage is private Cloudflare R2.

The separate name tool has its own text inputs. Photo restoration returns a still image under its displayed allowance; it does not automatically submit a band video or grant video credits.

Configured automated safety checks review required text and image inputs through SeeAPI before provider generation. If required services or media access are unavailable, a request cannot proceed. Completed results can vary in identity, instruments, anatomy, motion, framing, timing and sound; no exact reference reconstruction or output-quality percentage is promised. A confirmed failure returns reserved credits; unknown provider status is reconciled under the same task identifier before retry.

We may add, change, or remove features, scenes, and providers at any time; where a change materially reduces the Service, we will give reasonable notice when practical.

3. Accounts

  • You can sign in with Google or with email. Available sign-in methods are shown on the sign-in screen. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. Activity under your account is your responsibility; tell us promptly about any unauthorized use.
  • You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required where you live) to use the Service.
  • You may not operate multiple accounts to bypass safety, credit or access limits; we may block such attempts and close those accounts.

4. Photos and Likeness

This section matters most. By uploading a photo you confirm that:

  • the photo shows you, a person who has given you permission, or an animal whose photo you are authorized to use;
  • you will not upload photos of minors without their parent or guardian's consent;
  • you will not use photos of public figures or celebrities to impersonate them;
  • the resulting video will not be used to create or spread content that is sexual, hateful, harassing, or defamatory, or that is intended to deceive — for example, passing the video off as real footage of a real person saying things they never said.

You are responsible for how you share the videos you create. We may refuse to render, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, without refund of used credits.

5. Credits and Payment

  • The Service uses credits from one-time packs or subscriptions. Payment is currently by PayPal. The server-confirmed product, currency, price, billing period and payment methods shown before checkout apply.
  • Payment methods. Payments are currently processed by PayPal, and you pay with your PayPal account; PayPal subscriptions appear in your PayPal automatic payments. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method.
  • What a video costs. Review the complete server-confirmed quote for the selected effect, model, resolution, duration and format before submitting. Nothing is deducted until you confirm the quote. Cost varies with model, resolution and duration; if your balance is short, choose a lower-cost setting or add credits. The current complete quote is authoritative.
  • Credit packs (one-time): Single (10 credits, $6.99), Trio (30 credits, $19.99), Duo Pack (50 credits, $29), Crew Pack (350 credits, $99), Studio Pack (900 credits, $199), Label Pack (3,000 credits, $499). Pack credits never expire.
  • Subscriptions are paid with PayPal and renew automatically until you cancel. Monthly: Basic ($29.90/month, 100 credits per month), Pro ($49.90/month, 300 credits per month), Studio ($99.90/month, 800 credits per month). Yearly, billed once a year: Basic ($100/year, 400 credits), Pro ($500/year, 4,000 credits), Studio ($600/year, 6,000 credits); the whole year’s credits are granted at the start of the billing year. At an enabled subscription checkout, you authorize recurring charges through the configured payment provider until you cancel.
  • Subscription credits are valid for the current billing period only: monthly credits expire at the end of that month's period, yearly credits at the end of the billing year. Unused subscription credits do not roll over.
  • Pack credits and subscription credits share one balance; the credits that expire soonest are used first.
  • Canceling: you can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Canceling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active, with its credits, until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not give prorated refunds for partial periods, except as described in the Refund Policy.
  • Credits cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, except through gift links (below) or as described in the Refund Policy.
  • Gift links. You can set aside eligible credits you bought (from a pack or a plan) in a gift link, choosing the credits per recipient, number of recipients, expiration and message. The credits leave your available balance when you create the link. Each signed-in person can claim one share per link, and creators cannot claim their own links. Claimed credits keep their original expiry; plan credits still expire at the end of the original billing period and pack credits never expire. Credits received as a gift, and free or promotional credits, cannot be gifted again. You can stop a link, and unclaimed credits return to their original credit batches, as they do when the link expires. Refunds of the underlying purchase may revoke unused gift allocations or balances. Anyone who has the link can claim an eligible share, so share it only with the people you mean to give to.
  • Welcome credits. Each new account receives 6 welcome credits once, valid for 30 days, as described in the Refund Policy. They are not purchased credits and cannot be gifted, refunded or exchanged for cash. Video generation needs enough credits for its complete quote. A separately available photo-restoration allowance is not a purchased video-credit balance.
  • Confirmed failed renders return their reserved credits to the original balance under the credit rules. An uncertain network or provider result is reconciled using the existing identifier before retrying, to prevent duplicate charging. A completed render you dislike is not a confirmed failure. A credit return is distinct from a cash refund, which is reviewed under the Refund Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

In addition to Section 4, you agree not to use the Service to:

  • create sexual content, or any content sexualizing a minor or anyone who appears to be a minor — absolutely and without exception;
  • infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights of any party;
  • create content that is illegal where you live or where we operate, promotes violence or self-harm, or constitutes harassment, hate, or fraud;
  • probe, overload, scrape, or interfere with the Service or its providers, or circumvent safety filters, rate limits, or credit and access limits.

To report a violation of these Acceptable Use rules or other prohibited content, open a support ticket or email support@tinydesk-ai.net. After we receive a report or tip, we complete an initial review and notify the reporter of the outcome within 3 business days (Asia/Shanghai calendar).

7. Your Content and Generated Videos

  • Your uploads remain yours. You grant us a limited license to host and process them solely to operate the Service — sending them to AI rendering providers to fulfill the photo-restoration or video-generation request you authorize. We do not use them to train our own models.
  • Generated videos and sound are AI-generated outputs requested for the office-band scene. You may download and use completed outputs subject to these Terms, the applicable provider terms, your input rights and applicable law; the Service does not grant rights in third-party photographs, recordings, likenesses or trademarks.
  • AI models can produce similar outputs for different users; we cannot guarantee uniqueness, and you are responsible for verifying that your use does not infringe third-party rights.
  • You can request deletion of your photos and videos at any time via a support ticket.

8. Availability

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis: we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, rendering speed, or that a model, scene or provider remains offered. Reference media shows example results; your output can differ.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time via a support ticket; if you have an active subscription, cancel it from Billing to stop future renewals. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, bypass credit or access limits, initiate fraudulent chargebacks, or create risk for the Service, other users, or people depicted in content. Sections 4, 6, 7, 10, and 11 survive termination.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date above (October 28, 2026) reflects the latest revision; material changes will be announced in the product. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
