Review motion in a Tiny Desk AI video

Check gesture order, contact with instruments, camera continuity and the ending rather than judging a moving thumbnail.

Tiny Desk AI
Start; Contact; Return
Judge the action, contact and cut together.

The short answer

Watch the whole result first, then review the lead, props and camera at the same time. A smiling face beside a keyboard can resemble the reference while hands, instruments or cuts remain inconsistent. A related performance and exact motion transfer are different outcomes.

In this guide

  1. Define what should move
  2. Check contact with props
  3. Follow movement through camera changes
  4. Use a separate animal review
  5. Keep the fault attached to its time range

What to check

StepCheck
Define what should moveSeparate expression, body action and camera action.
Check contact with propsHands should interact coherently with instruments.
Follow movement through camera changesA cut should not silently change the actor or space.
Use a separate animal reviewHuman-style gestures can be inappropriate for a pet.
Keep the fault attached to its time rangeSupport needs a reproducible description.

Define what should move

Write down the few movements that matter to your interpretation: the lead’s smile, a keyboard gesture, a backing performer’s raised arm or a change to an instrumental view. This makes the review more precise than asking whether the scene feels lively.

A source photograph supplies appearance rather than a motion recording. Do not expect every gesture in an external clip to follow automatically from using a similar portrait.

Check contact with props

Watch where hands or paws meet the keyboard, microphone and nearby surfaces. Look for objects passing through one another, changing hand counts or a performer appearing to grip empty space.

You do not need to assess musical skill to spot physical discontinuity. Review the continuity of the contact, then separately consider whether the gesture fits the sound.

Follow movement through camera changes

After a cut, check the lead’s side of the frame, headphone position, instrument orientation and nearby performers. A camera change is not an explanation for incompatible limbs or a different face.

A shorter generated version may use a different shot order from the shared reference. Distinguish that creative difference from a broken transition within the same scene.

The motion review follows a gesture from its start, through contact, to a coherent end state.

Use a separate animal review

For an animal, check species, posture, paw attachment and stable body proportions. A pet-themed band scene may be playful, but visual humour does not remove the need to inspect anatomy.

Record the exact interval of a bent limb, changing markings or prop collision. Do not claim pet motion is accurate because a person version follows the same storyboard.

Keep the fault attached to its time range

Describe a fault as an observation, such as “the right hand merges with the keyboard after the second cut”. Include the work and selected settings. A thumbnail or one paused frame can support the report but cannot replace the full sequence.

Another generation has a new quote and may introduce different faults. Follow the existing task to a known state before deciding whether to submit a separate attempt.

Questions about this task

  • No. Image-to-video can generate related movement; motion transfer aims to preserve action from a specified moving reference. Check the actual tool and result.
